It's been a hot minute 'since my last self portrait... I felt it was time for a little self-indulgence and to see if I could capture the ever-elusive "me" once again. It came out half-decent, I think, though I mixed a few too many styles, again, and it got too worked up at one point and I had to bring it back. Still not bad. Could be better  Background style is a slight call-back to an old, old self-portrait: deems.deviantart.com/art/Jesa-…  . I think the necklace might be a bit too distracting down near the bottom of the piece...but the neck area was wayyyy too open otherwise. Not sure how to handle it. >.>;
